Automated Dropshipping Order Fulfillment to eBay

Dropshipping is an eCommerce fulfillment method in which an online shop doesn’t actually stock the products it sells. Instead, merchandise is shipped directly from the supplier, wholesaler or distributor to the customer. The online merchant does not come in direct contact with the product and relies entirely on their dropshipping partner for fulfillment.

Dropshipping is a partnership between the distributor and online merchant. This is because it works in a way that both parties need to be strong partners. Many eCommerce platforms have dropshipping capabilities like dropshipping automat, which you can use on your store to simplify the process.

Congratulations on your first order! It’s great to make some money using a computer and a WiFi network. Only thing left is to complete your order via eBay.

With the right knowledge and tools you have, you can scale your business. We are here to help you make it happen, provided that you continue to put the work .

We have received our first order. Now we must fulfill it directly from the source.

We will be covering a few ways to fulfill orders in this guide. Find out more about each and decide which one suits you best.

Let’s start by familiarizing ourselves with the orders page. All orders will be displayed on the AutoDS orders page. Everything you need is right there. Just click on the Orders link in the left menu.

We can see which products were sold, when they were ordered, the order status, date, item ID from our shop on the source website, buyer information, buy/sell price, profit, and many other things.

We will immediately see the order in or ‘Pending’status as soon as it is received.

Before we move on to the order fulfillment methods, let us first learn about the order states.

Order Statuses – Explanation

As long as we don’t use automatic eBay order fulfillment services, we know that all orders start in the Pending status.

The statuses can then be changed manually or automatically, depending on ordering preferences. will be available soon.

Here is the order status life cycle starting at the top.

Let’s now look at the meaning of each status.

In Progress

If you’re not connected to our automated ordering service (explanation soon), a new order will be placed in the “pending” status.

After enabling order automation your orders will be placed in the Order Process‘ status.

After you have received your orders, opt into the auto-ordering services. Simply switch from to ‘pending to’To Auto Order‘, and the process will start.

In order to progress

If you are in the Fulfilled By AutoDS / Auto ordering status, any new orders will begin in the In Order Progress (instead of pending).

Ordered

After an eBay order is fulfilled, it will be moved to the order status. We’ll also fill in the source’s number. Then, click ‘Update.’

You don’t need to change the order status if you use the Fulfilled By AutoDS/Auto ordering service. This is done by the system along with the source number.

Shipped

We’ll update the order status to ‘ordered‘ and ‘shipped‘ as soon as we have tracking information.

Don’t forget to update your tracking information when placing an order on eBay.

We aim to maintain a health seller account status. Part of that includes providing clear tracking information at all times.

Remember that the Fulfilled By AutoDS / Auto ordering ebay services are completely automated and require no human interaction. AutoDS will update your order status and tracking information within the system as well as in your ebay orders.

Delivered

‘Delivered is the last status of an order. This indicates that once an eBay order has been fulfilled, it has reached its destination.

If we don’t use the Fulfilled By AutoDS/Auto ordering service, then we will need to verify each order and update the status. It will be automated and checked otherwise.

Canceled

To cancel an order by a buyer, change the order status to Canceled. This does not cancel the order or refund the customer on ebay. We have to do this ourselves.

For automated orders, the ‘canceled switch is only applicable before the order has been processed. It will not cancel an order if it has already been sent. We have the “Request to Cancel” status.

Cancel

Automated Orders have the option to change the status from the ‘Ordered’ status to or ‘Request To Cancel’. This applies to orders that have been processed by the system.

AutoDS will request from the source a Return Label. This will be automatically available next to the order status when it’s ready.

Click here to download the return label and email it to your buyer. Your AutoDS Auto-Order Balance will be credited with a full refund once the product has been returned.

Failed Orders

An eBay order that fails to process using automated order will display a red error message with an exclamation mark. We can hover over this text to see why it failed to process.

Unmonitored

We now have the Unmonitored Orders status. This status can appear from the beginning instead of “pending”/’in order processing and indicates that the product is not being monitored or controlled by AutoDS.

Click on the order status to start monitoring this product. Next, click on ” Add Product“.

Next, you will see the Untracked Products screen. Here we can either manually add product information or import it from CSV files to save time when dealing with multiple untracked items.

Order Processing Methods

We now have a better understanding of all order statuses and their meaning, so we will cover the three methods we use to fulfill our eBay orders.

Manual Order Processing

The most recommended method is to manually process orders. This is because it takes a lot of time and is therefore the most time-consuming method.

Log in to your supplier’s site to place your order manually. You can then purchase the product from your buyer’s address .

Don’t forget to update the order status on AutoDS according to the order number. This is also true for products shipped with tracking numbers.

If the buyer wants to cancel an order, he/she must contact the supplier and request a return label. To ensure that we don’t leave anything behind, it’s important to keep track of all return requests.

Last but not least, make sure you order products in gift packaging. Reach out to your seller if there aren’t any gift options. Let them know that you would like the product sent without the source price, logos or other information.

Fulfilled by AutoDS

We recommend that you use the ‘Fulfilled by AutoDS‘ service for eBay order processing.

All orders will be processed automatically with the Fulfilled by AutoDS service . You don’t need to interact with the system. The automated ordering service supports suppliers such as Amazon and Home Depot, AliExpress and Walmart.

The orders will be processed automatically. tracking information will also be updated automatically on AutoDs or your eBay store. Bluecare Express track conversions are available for tracking numbers that are not supported by ebay.

One-click returns also come as a huge benefit to this service. All we need to do is change the order status to or ‘Request To Cancel’, as explained in the section on order statuses.

We don’t have to open any accounts on any of our supported suppliers’ websites. AutoDS will use its buyer account to fulfill your orders. This means you won’t need to deal with verifications, locked accounts, or other hassles.

Your cash flow will remain smooth because you can fill your auto order balance from PayPal the same way as you get paid. You won’t be required to use your credit card for each order and you won’t need to contact your bank to request higher credit limits.

The system automatically fulfills an eBay order when you place an order.

First, let’s opt in for the auto-ordering system.

How to Opt-in for the ‘Fulfilled by AutoDS’ Service

Click on Settings’ on the left menu and then click on the Plans & add-ons column at the top.

Scroll down to the “Addons” section. Here you’ll find the “Orders Processor”.

Click on to activate it. Auto-ordering costs an additional $8 per month. It includes auto-ordering and automatic tracking updates. You can also send automated messages to your customers.

After we have purchased the Orders Processor Package, we must activate the “Fulfilled by AutoDS” service for each supplier we wish to have our orders processed automatically.

Navigate to AutoDS Settings > Store Settings > Orders.

To edit their order settings, click on the supplier link.

Click on the “Process orders using ‘Fulfilled By AutoDS’ Service” to activate automatic order processing with that supplier.

To have new orders processed automatically, instead of waiting for you to act, you can check-in Automatic Orders“. Otherwise, orders will be placed in Pending’status and must be moved to “In Order Process” to begin the ordering process.

If we don’t want shipping carriers to send SMSs to our customers, we have the option to ‘Override customer’s phone number‘. However, AliExpress orders are best not to override it. Our buyers will be notified when the package arrives at their address.

To avoid ordering automation for expensive orders, we can set a maximum order price and a maximum profit to prevent orders from being automated at a loss.

That was great! Now, our accounts can handle automatic orders. To fulfill orders, we only need to add balance and credits.

Add Auto-Order Credits

The Auto-ordering credit is like tokens to use an arcade machine. Each auto-order is worth one credit. The more credits we buy, the less each credit will cost.

Each new AutoDS account receives 30 free Auto-Order Credits. This allows you to try before you purchase. After we have used all the credits, you can click on the Buy Credit button at the top-right of the orders page.

Next, you can select the credit package that suits you best. You can click on the credit package you like, then click “Buy” at the bottom right.

How to Add Balance to ‘Fulfilled by AutoDS’

We have auto-orders on our subscription, and our auto-order credits are full. Now we just need to balance to pay for our orders.

You’ll find a lightning/clipboard icon at the top of the orders page’s.

To view your account balance and your purchase history , or downloading invoices for any order, hover over the icon.

To load your account balance, click to ‘Load. PayPal ( 4%) and Payoneer ( no fee) are both options. Your balance will load immediately after the payment is successful.

That’s it! Our auto-ordering accounts have been activated, we have auto order credits, and we paid the order price with our Fulfilled by AutoDS‘ balance.

Our business is ready to order automation. We have no stress because we don’t use our personal accounts or credit cards to issue orders or returns. Our buyers will also receive their packages at lightning-fast speeds.

Orders

We also offer an automated ordering system that will automatically place your orders with your purchase accounts and payment options.

To put it another way, instead of loading your order balance to allow AutoDS to fulfill orders using their purchase accounts (Fulfilled By AutoDS), AutoDS will use its purchase accounts with the payment methods to automatically fulfill all your orders. Your suppliers will be responsible for refunds and returns.

All other aspects remain the same: automatic tracking updates, messages for buyers, order automation.

How to Opt-in for the ‘Automatic Orders’ Service

We need to activate the Automatic orders’ subscription just like we did when we signed up for the ’Fulfilled by AutoDS’ service.

Click on Settings on the left menu and then click on the Plans & add-ons column at the top.

Scroll down to the “Addons” section. Here you’ll find the “Orders Processor”.

Click on to activate it. Auto-ordering costs an additional $8 per month. It includes auto-ordering and automatic tracking updates. You can also send automated messages to your customers. To fulfill our orders, we need to create a purchase account .

How to Add a Purchasing account

Navigate to Settings > Purchase Accounts on AutoDS. Next, click on to ‘Add Account.

Next, fill out all required fields, beginning with the supplier (AliExpress in our example). Check that your email and password match the information you have received from the supplier. Click on Next.

We now need to enter the payment method in order to fulfill orders through this supplier.

Select Credit Card’ and click to ‘Add Credit card,‘. Enter your credit card details.

To complete the final settings of this buyer account, click on “Next”.

If we do not want to automatically process the orders as soon as they arrive, we can limit the maximum number of orders that we will allow in the ‘pending’ state.

If we don’t want to exceed a daily limit, we can also limit the price limit on our daily orders. This automatic ordering method uses our credit line to process orders. This can be useful for those with a limited daily Credit limit.

Add Auto-Order Credits

To enable automatic tracking updates and ordering, click on “Auto-order / Autotracking numbers”.

How to Activate Automatic Orders

After we have added our purchase accounts, activate the Automatic Orders’service for each supplier we wish to have our eBay orders fulfilled automatically. (To start with the In Order Process_ status instead of? Pending.

Navigate to AutoDS Settings > Store Settings > Orders.

To edit their order settings, click on the supplier link.

To activate automatic order processing with that supplier, click the “Automatic Orders” button.

That’s all there is! We now have full order automation. Whether we use the Fulfilled By AutoDS without our buy accounts or Automatic Orders with our buyer accounts, the system can take care of all our orders.

These methods are impenetrable to human error. Customers will receive their packages quickly and we have more time to invest in expanding our dropshipping business. Enjoy the freedom!
