Hearne moved up to Denton, Texas, in the early 2000’s, where he established all-acoustic band The Gloomadeers. They played festivals and toured across the United States while producing albums like Rusalka Songs and Grave Ambitions during that first decade of this century. Eleutheros! was released by Hearne in 2012 as an extension of this sound with full band and electric instruments; since then he has shared stages with Billy Joe Shaver, Steven Fromholtz and Miranda Lambert among others.
