How Many Coupon Codes Can I Have On Shopify?

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Coupons are one of the most popular ways to save money online. With so many retailers offering discounts and deals, it can be tough to decide which coupons to use. One of the best ways to figure this out is by checking your shopify coupon code limit. This setting determines how many coupons you can have active at once.

How Do Coupon Codes Work on Shopify?

When you create a shop on Shopify, you are given the option to add a coupon code. Codes allow users to save money on their purchases by entering in the discount code before they make a purchase. When a user enters in the code, it automatically applies the discount to their order.

There are two types of coupon codes: standard and custom. Standard codes are pre-set by Shopify and can be used by all customers. Custom codes are created specifically for a customer’s account and can only be used by that customer.

When Should You Use Coupons on Shopify?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the best way to use coupons on Shopify will vary depending on your business and preferences. However, we can provide some general tips that may help you get started.

Before you start using coupons on Shopify, it’s important to understand how they work. Coupons are barcodes or QR codes that customers can scan at the checkout counter to save money on their purchases. When you create a coupon, you give Shopify a unique code (usually between 4 and 12 characters long) that shoppers can use when checking out.

Once you have created your coupons, there are a few things you need to keep in mind:

1. Make sure your coupon codes are easy to remember! People tend to discount products more when they have to enter only a few characters instead of a long code.

2. Always test your coupons before you launch them into production – make sure they work properly and that customers are able to redeem them correctly.

3. Manage your coupon inventory carefully – be sure to keep track of how many coupons each product is eligible for, as well as the approximate amount of savings each coupon will generate. This information will help you determine which products should be discounted most frequently.

How Many Coupon Codes Allowed?

There are no set rules as to how many coupon codes an individual can have on their Shopify account. However, Shopify does have a policy which dictates that a user cannot have more than 100 active coupon codes at any given time. Additionally, Shopify also has a policy which dictates that all active coupons must be placed in one location on the account – either in the storefront or in an affiliate program. If an individual wishes to place multiple coupons in separate locations, they will need to create multiple campaigns and track each coupon individually.

With so many different stores and online retailers to choose from, it can be hard to know how many coupon codes you can have on your Shopify store at once. The answer, unfortunately, is that you can’t have too many! Not only will having more coupons give you the opportunity to save on your favorite products, but also it will make it easier for customers who are looking for deals on specific items. Keep in mind, though, that if you go overboard with the number of coupons you’re using, customers may start to feel overwhelmed when they try to search through all of them to find the right one. When making decisions about how many coupons to put into your store, think about what will work best for both you and your customers.
