Salehoo Vs Doba Vs WorldWideBrands Comparision and Review

There are a lot of things you need to think about when you start your business. How you will acquire the products that you wish to sell to your customers is a crucial aspect of starting a business.

Drop shipping and Wholesaling are the two main methods that can give you access to products from around the globe.

DropShipping and Wholesaling

These are the two main methods on which the business supply management software stands. Wholesaling refers to the process of buying inventory in large quantities at a discount rate. Drop shipping – This is a completely different process. It involves a third party who works for your company and sells your products to customers. Each of these options has its advantages and disadvantages, but they are crucial for the success of your business.

There are many companies on the market, but we’ve chosen three companies that are well-known for being the top wholesale dropshippers.

Salehoo

Salehoo is a New Zealand-based wholesale supplier company that connects drop shippers with suppliers from other countries.
It is supported by suppliers from the United States, Australia, New Zealand, China, and New Zealand.

You can also get information from DropShip, or source suppliers from Amazon and eBay. They will give you details about the current selling price, profit potential, and how popular they were.

Salehoo now offers pre-built stores to their customers, which are filled with products targeted at specific niches or can be bought as a general store.

Pros

Wide range of tools for sellers – eBay trends, hot product, product labsLow cost – $67 per year (a lower initial cost than other options)Before being added, companies are thoroughly vetted
Trader Guarantee (Salehoo will protect you in the event of an unfortunate incident)
With an A+ rating, eBay Partner Certified

Cons

A smaller database than the other companies, but still an impressive 2.5 million productsSalehoo allows you to purchase branded products, but there is a lot of competition

Doba

Doba acts as a DropShipping marketplace and is a DropShipping-focused list provider.

Doba’s marketplace lets you quickly find products and export them to your WooCommerce or Shopify stores.

You must purchase the product once you have sold, unlike other DropShip marketplaces or list providers. This adds some time. Doba allows you to order the product directly from the supplier, instead of adding it to your site or purchasing direct from them.

Their database is vast and includes millions of products that you can choose from to sell. You want to be able to sell as many products online as possible. Each supplier is reviewed and then given a scorecard rating.

Pros

This database contains a lot of productsOffers “Hot Products”Daily Deals to Boost Your Profits
Export to Amazon, eBay or Data Exports easily

Cons

Only the highest priced tiers have access to export capabilities. It’s quite expensive, even at its cheapest. Some products may seem too good to be true, particularly considering the many fakes.
Access to the most popular product reports (Advanced and Pro) requires you to pay more.
A $ transaction fee is also charged

Salehoo VS Doba – Which Is Better?

The fight between Salehoo and Doba is pretty one-sided, if I’m honest. These are the reasons I think Salehoo is the superior of the two.

Competitive Pricing

Doba’s base cost is $29 per month. Salehoo gives you many tools and a large database of products for just $6 per month.

Also, you don’t need to pay per transaction as transactions aren’t done here.

Similar Tools / Offerings

Salehoo and Doba both offer DropShipping tools, including ‘Hot Products, Seller Ratings and the ability to spot trends. Doba’s high quality items, however, and no guarantee that they will be genuine, make me worry about its offerings.

Doba allows you to export to other platforms. However, if you use DropShipping fulfillment tools such as Oberlo and AliDropShip, then you don’t need to export. You can import from AliExpress.

Number of products/database side

It’s somewhat of a tiebreaker. Doba boasts a huge product list, which is growing at a rate of over 2 million. This compares to Salehoo’s 2.5 million products. It really isn’t that much!

WorldWideBrands

This could be the place where you start to see a theme.

WorldWideBrands has been re-established as a DropShipping and Wholesale supplier list provider. They have access to 16 million products. These products have been verified and are “100% Legit”.

They were founded in 2000 and have been in business for a long time. However, they still have some issues, especially in this highly competitive market.

They can be divided into two areas.

Wholesale;

This basically gives you access to suppliers and products that specialize in large bulk purchases. This is great for anyone who wants to start an online store, eBay store, or Amazon.

DropShipping Directory

DropShipping Marketplace is more in line with the others. You can order products directly from the supplier and have them shipped directly to your customer.

Pros

This database contains a lot of productsAll you pay is the priceWholesale is also available – great if you are just starting out.
You will find new suppliers quickly as products are constantly updated.
WholeSaleBrands offers scam protection and guarantees that their suppliers/products are legal
They provide a Free preview

Cons

Even with a limited preview, $299 is quite a steep price to pay. There is no integration with websites. You will have to manually obtain all images and information from the suppliers. There are 16 million products. This is a lot of duplicates. It can be overwhelming for startups and people just starting out in this niche.
Personally, I don’t find it easy to navigate around.
This is a primarily wholesale-oriented program. You will pay more to have these items split or Dropshipped.
There is no easy way to find hot items or trending products.

Salehoo VS WorldWideBrands

It is difficult to determine because they cater to different audiences.

For the people I work with, usually young entrepreneurs or start-ups, Salehoo still wins this round. Here’s why.

Affordable Membership

If you are trying to find niches that work for you or want to start supplying products, the $299 upfront price is a big deal.

Entrepreneurs will find it easier to find their niche or feet with a $67 per year. DropShipping may not be right for you if you don’t have $68 to pay back in one year.

Tools / Extras

WorldWideBrands only offers a very limited number of suppliers. They don’t offer hot products, eBay Top Sellers, or any other information. Although they offer training and methods to prevent you from being scammed online by others, Salehoo also offers free articles and training on similar topics.

Ready Built Stores

Salehoo allows you to purchase a store that is filled with products in your niche.

Are They Worth It?

We have seen that all three services are used by thousands, if not hundreds of people.

These are as valuable and cost-effective as you make them. You can purchase a $29 monthly membership. If you find a product you like but don’t make a beautiful store, there is no guarantee that you will make any money.

Doba, Salehoo, and WorldWideBrands are great platforms that help you find trusted suppliers, wholesalers, and dropshippers all in one place.

Who wins?

These are the 3 platforms that currently offer the best dropship and wholesale supplier lists.

All three offer lists of suppliers and huge price ranges. Salehoo and Doba offer additional tools in addition to their lists. All three of them have product databases that number in the millions.

Salehoo is still my favorite, it has the best of both worlds. It offers affordable product databases as well as additional tools like Hot Products and Trend data without having to spend extra.
