To begin, we first need to create a custom post type for our product. We’ll use this post type to store all of the information related to our product in one place. To do this, we’ll need to open up the Shopify admin area and navigate to custom posts.

Next, we’ll click on the Add New Post Type button and enter in the following information:

Name: checkout_products

Description: This is a custom post type for storing information about products that can be added to the checkout process.

We’ll also need to add a taxonomy to this post type. We can do this by clicking on the Taxonomies tab and entering checkout_products into the search field. We’ll then select the Checkout Products taxonomy and click on the Add button.

Now that we’ve created our post type and taxonomy, we need to create a custom template for it. To do this, we’ll first need to download a free Shopify theme from theShop with Style. After downloading the theme, we’ll open it up in your preferred editor and locate the theme’s content/templates folder. Inside of this folder, you’ll find a files named checkout-product.tpl.php.
