When you launch a new online store, one of the first things you may want to do is include screenshots of your product pages. After all, if people can’t see what they’re buying, they might as well not buy it! But before you can upload any screenshots, you need to disable screenshots in Shopify.
What are Screenshots?
Shopify allows you to take screenshots of your storefront and product pages, but what if you don’t want to take screenshots? There are a few ways to disable screenshots in Shopify.
The first way is to go to your Shopify admin area and under the “Settings” tab, find the “Screenshots” tab. Here you can turn off all Screenshots for your store.
If you only want to disable product screenshots, go to the “Images” section of your Shopify admin area and find the “Product Images” folder. Here you will see a list of all the product images in your store. Click on the image name and it will open up in a new window with options for disabling that image from being used as a screenshot.
