Driving traffic to your Shopify dropshipping store is the most difficult part of opening a Shopify dropshipping store. You can use the traffic free method to your Shopify dropshipping store if you don’t have much money to advertise.
You will need to put in your effort to make the free traffic method work. Organic traffic is highly recommended, especially if your budget is tight. There are many ways to get free traffic to your website. While some organic methods may send free traffic more quickly than others, others can take longer.

This method was implemented on my Shopify dropshipping shop using collaboration and an artist. I tried different methods by working with artists who could create 2D artwork/ cartoon animations on Instagram and Youtube. Then, I sold print-on-demand merchandise from their artwork. The artist promotes the merch to their audience through affiliate partnerships. This allows me to generate organic traffic and sales for my dropshipping shop without having to spend any money on advertising.
This method requires you to pitch multiple influencers in order to get their “YES”. It is not about how many games you play. Install Shopify apps like Affiliate Go Pro to track the affiliate sales of influencers. You can then approach influencers on Instagram, Youtube and Tik Tok to make an affiliate partnership.
Organically Growing Instagram Page
An Instagram page can be used to drive traffic organically and in collaboration with an influencer. To grow your Instagram account organically, you will need to be consistent with this method.
To attract your followers, you will need to create an Instagram account for your dropshipping niche and post valuable content to your IG page. Begin by sharing useful information about your niche and educating followers. This will help you build a niche dropshipping business and establish your authority. This method should not be used in general dropshipping stores.
It is important to use different hashtags in your Instagram posts. This will help you reach a wider audience, hit the explore page, and be active on your IG stories. You can grow your Instagram followers by using hashtags and posting consistently on Instagram. Many forum members will recognize you as an expert in your niche and will begin to look at your dropshipping shop and buy products from you store as they trust you. Organic Facebook marketing can only be done by providing value to the group. Let’s take, for example, a dropshipping business in the cooking niche. Find a Facebook group that is related to recipes, cooking, and meals. You can join the Facebook group home cook meals & recipes to get value.
As an authority and helpful person within the group, you will be a strong representative of yourself. You will make other Facebook group members more familiar with you, and they will be more likely to trust you.
This is the most important part of organic Facebook marketing. Your profile must be optimized by including your dropshipping link in your bio. Because they trust you as an expert, people will check out your Facebook profile and click on the link to your online store.
If you are an authority figure within the group, others will begin to chat with you and seek your advice. You can help them solve their problems by recommending the product for dropshipping. This is the best way to get free traffic to your eCommerce site.
Slideshare and Ebook Free to Promote Your Product
Writing a free ebook could be a great way to drive traffic to your online shop. A free ebook can be written about your product review. You can then sell the ebook free of charge on Amazon KDP and Gumroad. People will be compelled to download the free ebook and then read it. You can then drive free traffic to your shipping shop by publishing the ebook. The ebook can be made on Ms Word or Canva.
Slideshare allows you to create a PDF presentation that explains the product benefits or best products in specific categories. Slideshare your presentation to rank for long-tail keywords with low competition keywords. Slideshare can show you a presentation on the best fishing rod.
Slideshare presentation ranks well in Google SERP because of its high domain authority. When people see your slide presentation on Google, they will click on the link to purchase or go to your dropshipping shop. This will bring you free traffic to dropshipping.
SEO Product page Optimization and SEO Optimized blog
Passive traffic from Google SEO is the best way to get organic traffic to your dropshipping shop. You can also rank your product pages with low-competition keywords to improve your chances of ranking higher in Google SERP.
Mug Dom used this method to rank all print on demand mugs on Google. To rank their collection page on Google’s page one, Mug Dom uses low-competition keywords like Accountant Mugs as shown in this picture.
If you are serious about building passive traffic to your dropshipping shop, then this is the right place for you. You should create a blog section for your online shops. You can use content marketing to rank your blog posts on Google SERP, and to educate your audience about the products in your store. As an example, mug Dom has done a fantastic job creating a section on his blog to recommend a gift for each month. This is their personalized mug.
To get free traffic from Google SEO, you must create content. To increase the domain authority and work on your on-page SEO for product pages and blog posts, you will need to create quality backlinks (Off-page optimization).
SEO is only two things: building content and backlink. An eCommerce store can use this method to create blog content and rank high on Google. It will also help to establish backlinks for your content. You can also post guest posts on blogs that are related to your niche to get backlinks to your content. Some guest posts might not allow you to link directly to your product page. It is a good idea to create a blog section in your eCommerce store.
To gather opinions on specific topics, you can host a round-up expert. Expert bloggers will contribute their thoughts to your blog and link them to their site. This will enable you to network with other bloggers within your niche.
You can share the link to the roundup expert blog post with all round-up experts once it is published. They will most likely share your link via their blogs, email, social media or blogs. This will give you backlinks from many websites which will improve your domain authority.
Once the round-up expert has been completed, you can pitch them for guest author status on their blog. After round-up experts, they will likely accept you as a guest writer.

Quora Question and Answer
Quora is the largest site for questions and answers. Many marketers overlook the potential of Quora marketing. Dropshipping stores can be driven organically by linking to your answers.
Answer specific questions about products and problem solving. Then, recommend the product to your dropshipping shop. Make sure you add value to your answer by providing a detailed explanation. Don’t just spam your answers with links. To avoid Quora deleting answers, you can only put one link to your dropshipping shop in each five questions.
To see which questions bring you the most customers to your dropshipping shop, A/B-test by answering the most popular questions. Here’s an example of a Quora question that recommends the best frying pan for your kitchen. The link was provided by the person to her Amazon store.
I recommend that you begin answering Quora questions within the first week, without linking to any links.
Then, on the following week, you will be able to start putting one link per five questions. Not only can you answer questions about dropshipping, but also other topics. Youtube Free Traffic
Youtube is the second most popular search engine on the internet. You will miss a huge opportunity if Youtube is not used to drive traffic to your dropshipping shop.
Dropshipping stores need to post video content on Youtube to promote their products. The key to getting free traffic from Youtube is creating an Youtube channel and ranking it on Youtube.
Odditymall is a dropshipping shop that uses Youtube to drive traffic to their store. Odditymall collects all video clips from AliExpress and Tik Tok. You can then re-post it on your Youtube channel. Odditymall also included a credit in their Youtube video description. This is where you can see the source of the video, as shown in the image below. The video was taken by Tik Tok in this instance.
If you don’t wish to use your voice, you can create content with a slide presentation. You can also record your screen using OBS Studio.
Another option is to use video software to create video clips from the internet with a robot voice-over. You can then create content that educates your viewers and offers them products through your dropshipping shop. There are many options when it comes to creating video content for dropshipping stores. First, choose the one that is most convenient for you.
Subreddit for Your Niche
Reddit is the largest forum on the internet. Redditors interact with each other worldwide. Reddit receives 1.5 million visitors per month, according to Similar Web. This is huge! This is a huge mistake!
You won’t drive traffic to your online shop by posting your link in a Reddit post. Subreddit moderators will ban you quickly.
What can you do to get free traffic from Reddit You have many options to generate organic traffic. You can join multiple Subreddits related to your niche, and participate in providing valuable information. Redditors will be interested in you because you offer value and will look at your Reddit profile. You can get free traffic to your eCommerce store if you post your link in your Reddit account.
Building your Subreddit is the second way to get free traffic to your online shop. Your Subreddit allows you to create the welcome message for your dropshipping shop link. Each time a new Redditor joins your Subreddit they will be sent a welcome message with a link to your dropshipping shop.
A Subreddit allows you to place a sticky post at the top of your Subreddit homepage. This will allow other Redditors to check your sticky post which links to your website. You will be active on other Subreddits and provide value. However, your Subreddit will allow you to drive more traffic to your dropshipping shop by building it.
You may think that blogging commenting is dead. It’s still possible to comment on blogs if you leave valuable comments that are related to the post. Unfortunately, spammers are often commenting on blogs of others by posting irrelevant comments or putting links to other blogs without leaving any valuable feedback.
Let’s say you want to promote eCommerce by commenting on other blogs. Your comment should be relevant to the topic and include a comment that is valuable. Your online store link is not required to be included in your blog comment. Sometimes, the blog owner may delete your comment because it is self-promotion.
It is best to put valuable comments on blogs to get free traffic. This will make blog visitors curious about you and will link back to your dropshipping shop when they read your comment. When you comment on other blogs, you’ll need to enter your name and URL.
Pinterest Article Pins and Product Pins
Pinterest has been considered untapped by dropshipping shops. Many eCommerce store owners don’t use Pinterest as a visual search engine. You will notice that many eCommerce store owners only focus on product pins in order to drive traffic to their dropshipping shop. Jullymart is an example of a Shopify dropshipping site that uses Pinterest product pins for free traffic.
A dropshipping store owner could also create article pins on their blog. The free traffic will come from product searches and informational queries. Pinterest users will see your article pin, and click the pin for the article. You will also recommend the product to dropshipping customers in the article.
Article pins are the best way to drive traffic to your website from Pinterest. This is especially true if your dropshipping business has one. Your store should have a blog section. You can also use Pinterest marketing to drive traffic and engagement to your blog. This tutorial will show you how to set up a blog on WordPress .
Use your Pinterest business account to claim your domain. To activate the product pin, you will need to add a Pinterest code on your website. You will need to install Pinterest apps if Shopify is your eCommerce platform. These apps activate the product pin automatically on your Pinterest account.
Your pin rank will increase if you optimize your pin title and pin product titles with keyword suggestions from the Pinterest search box. This will allow your pin to be found by Pinterest users. The eCommerce store should create article pins on Pinterest. A blog can increase traffic to their site and help them sell more products by using Pinterest.
This medium can be used to generate free traffic to your website. I was surprised to discover that many eCommerce store owners had not used this website to drive traffic to their stores.
Medium is a free blogging platform without ads. Medium’s high domain authority (DA 95) is what makes it so great. What does this mean for you? This means that you can use your blog post to rank high in the Google SERPs and grab free traffic.
To promote your eCommerce store, I recommend that you write a blog about any topic in your niche. You could write an article on how to, top [product], best [product], cheap[product], where you can buy, etc. These articles will inform people and link back to your eCommerce store.
As you can see in the image below, one Macsources blog promotes their website through backlinks to their medium article.
However, please don’t spam your articles with a backlink to an eCommerce store. Medium will flag your store for spamming and de-index your Medium article from Google SERP.
There are many ways to get free traffic to your Shopify dropshipping shop. To see results, I recommend that you concentrate on at least two free traffic sources per week. You can then expand your reach to other traffic sources to diversify traffic. This is called Omnichannel Marketing.
It takes patience and persistence to implement a free traffic method for your Shopify dropshipping shop. Organic traffic is key to achieving success. Most people are not patient enough to wait and give up before they see any traction in their store.
